AMALFI COAST – PRIVATE BOAT TOUR
– Full day/7 hours from 10am.
(Optional stop at restaurant for a good fish meal: price not included in the total boat tour price).
– Half-day/4 hours either in the morning (departure from Positano around 10 am) or in the afternoon (departure around 2:30 pm).
Differences between the full and half day: having more or less time available; no meal option due to fewer hours.
The tour is private, then it’s only for you whichever option you choose.
The boat leaves the pier of Positano and your tour begins along the divine Amalfi Coast.
Many beaches, coves and grottos make the coast unparalleled in beauty and charm: during navigation you can take photos to immortalize wonderful places, can stop wherever and wherever you want to take a swim in crystal clear waters or enjoy the sun or the gentle sea breeze while sipping prosecco and other drinks with snacks. The tour goes on exploring La Praia beach in Praiano, and the Fjord of Furore up to the magical Emerald Grotto which can be visited by rowing boats: the bottom of the cave welcomes an underwater Nativity scene (optional visit and extra ticket). Shortly after you reach Conca de’ Marini, the most typical seaside village on the Coast: the famous Italian actress Sophia Loren lived here a few years. In addition, the village is known for hosting many famous guests in the 60’s and 70’s, including the Princess Margaret of England and Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis. In this place you can stop for a meal, either on the way to or on the way back, in a characteristic restaurant where fish dishes are served … daily fresh fish caught by local fishermen.
After a few minutes you get to Amalfi, one of the four ancient Maritime Republics, the town that gives the name to the whole Coast. The skipper can moor the dock on request, so you can visit the city. I highly recommend it! Amalfi is truly a jewel town, full of history and art.
If you don’t want to stop, the navigation continues towards Atrani, another ancient village to admire, and then looking up you can see Ravello from the boat.
On the way back you can again dive into the sea and sunbathe in small coves not explored yet. Sailing back to Positano in the evening.
The prices for the whole tours
